IK Code Test Machine Impact Resistance Test Apparatus High-energy Impact Test System
Complied Standards & Clauses
This apparatus is manufactured in full accordance with the following international standards:
IEC 60068-2-75:2014 – Environmental testing, Part 2-75: Test Eh: Hammer tests
IEC 62262:2002 – Degrees of protection by enclosures against external mechanical impacts (IK Code)
IEC 60335-2-25 Clause 22.119.3 – Specific safety requirements for household electrical appliances
These standards are commonly required for product certification, quality audits, and type testing across various markets.
Product Overview
This high-energy impact test apparatus is designed to evaluate the impact resistance and mechanical strength of household and similar electrical and electronic equipment. It is widely used to test products and accessories such as: Plugs and sockets, Wall-mounted mounting boxes, Screw, glands and covers, Switches and lamps. By simulating mechanical impacts, the system helps determine whether a product can withstand external forces during transportation, installation, or daily use — ensuring safety, durability, and compliance.
The device simulates a mechanical impact by releasing a striking element from a 1-meter pendulum tube, converting gravitational potential energy into kinetic energy. The element strikes the sample vertically at the lowest point of the arc to simulate real-world impact forces.
This method ensures repeatable, standardized impact energy, allowing for consistent product performance evaluation under various IK rating levels.
